INFANT KILLED
A three-year-old boy was killed in a motor accident in Breezes road yesterday afternoon. He was Andrew John Macdonald, the son of Mr and Mrs H. E. Macdonald, of 8 Carters road. The accident occurred in Breezes road near the intersection with Carters road about 1.30 p.m. Inquiries by the police showed that the. boy killed was one of a group of three who ran across the road in front of a vehicle. It is thought the driver swerved to avoid the group but struck the boy. The driver was Mr J. Ryan, of Travis road. The motor accident branch has asked any person who saw tile accident, and particularly a woman who was in the area at the time, to get in touch with the Central Police Station.
