Lawler Play On B.B.C. TV
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 30. The Australian author, Mr Ray Lawler, who wrote “The Summer of the Seventeenth Doll,” had his play “A Breach in the Wall” as tile “Play-of-the-Week” last night on British Broadcasting Corporation television. The play describes the excitement and debate which follows the discovery in a small country church of the coffin bearing the remains of the martyred Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas A’Becket.
