Boys’ Brigade Swimming
The 6th Christchurch Company of the Boys’ Brigade gained placings in both the junior and senior team sections of the battalion's swimming sports held at the Wharanui pool. It was second in the senior section and third in the junior. The company has figured prominantly in all the battalion competitions during the last 18 months. Eighty boys from IS companies took part in the tournament. Team results were: Junior.—27th Christchurch company (Opawa), 18 points, 1; Ist Christchurch (Beckenham), 16, 2; 6th Christchurch (Central City), 15, 3. Senior.—23rd Christchurch (Shirley), 21. 1: 33rd Christchurch (Hoon Hay) and 6th Christchurch, 19 (equal), 2.
