Body In Estuary
(N.Z. Prett Attociation) AUCKLAND, Mar. 27. Police recovered at 10.45 a.m. today in the Tamaki estuary the body of an elderly woman who disappeared from her nephew's home at Buckland's beach about 6.35 a.m. She was Kate Maitland Churton, a spinster, aged 74. The body, clad in night attire, was recovered by the police launch Deodar. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Grass Fire.—A grass fire on the Summit road near Evans Pass was extinguished without damage by Sumner and Woolston firemen about 3 Djn. vesterdav.
