Four Injured In Collision
Four persons were injured when two cars collided three miles south of Dunsandel about 10.30 p.m. yesterday. Three of the injured are Mr J. K. Forbes, of 14 Kirkwood avenue, Christchurch, his wife, Mrs S. Forbes, and Mr R. R. Hollis, of 12 Allens road, Christchurch. Mr Forbes suffered multiple injuries and was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. His condition early this morning was fairly serious. Mrs Forbes was treated for injuries to an arm, and was discharged. Mr Hollis, who suffered head and leg injuries, was also discharged after treatment. The name of the fourth person injured was not available early this morning. A St John ambulance brought the injured to Christchurch from Dunsandel.
