Singapore Arrests
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SINGAPORE, March 27. Police have reported the arrest of 13 people, including seven women, after three demonstrations last night against Singapore’s recentlyestablished national service call-up. Riot squad police fired teargas to disperse some 200 flagwaving and poster-carrying demonstrators who marched through the centre of the city.
