BABY BORN ON YACHT

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 27. A baby bom on a yacht at Pakatoa Island, in the Hauraki Gulf, this morning, died this evening at National Women's Hospital. The baby, a girt, was two months premature. An amphibian aircraft had taken an ambulance officer, a nursing sister and an incubator to the island after the birth. The mother and child were then flown to Auckland and taken to hospital. The child died about 6.40 p.m.
