FIERY ENCOUNTER IN SOUTH VIETNAM.—Korean infantry charging through a village in the Son Thanh district, about 250 miles north-east of Saigon, after it had been set on fire by grenades and artillery shelling. Most of the village was destroyed in the attack. The village was considered to be under Viet Cong control, and all males were arrested. The other inhabitants were taken to a refugee centre in the Tuy Hoa Province.
