Man Injured In Fall
(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, March 19.
A Maxwell Pass farmer, Mr Keith Pratt, his pelvis injured when he fell from his horse while mustering, crawled nearly four miles to his homestead on Friday. He was met by his wife 200 yards from the house. Mrs Pratt went to look for her husband after his horse returned home by itself. Mr Pratt fell when his horse took fright He had a sheep across the saddle.
Mr Pratt crawled for nearly four hours. He is now in Wairau hospital with injuries to his pelvis and severe bruising. His condition is satisfactory.
