GRANT OF £10,000
Research On Minerals (N.Z. ftext Association) WELLINGTON, March 17. The Government has granted £lO,OOO a year for the next two years, to the University Grants Committee for the support of university research related to the development of mineral resources in New Zealand. Announcing this today, the Minister of Science (Mr Talboys) said that the University Grants Committee would make a like amount available from its research funds. “This work is complementary to the work of various Government departments," said Mr Taiboys.
