POLICEMAN PLOUGHMAN
A man apparently does not need to be a farmer or farm worker to be a good ploughman, though it no doubt must help. Mr W. Baker, representative of Great Britain on the governing board of the World Ploughing Organisation, who has lately been in New Zealand, remarked the other day that Tom Barr, one of the two Barr brothers who will be representing Northern Ireland in the world contest In the PrebbletonBroadfield district in May, is a policeman. The other brother is a farmer, and of course they are both brothers of Hugh Barr, the man who won the world contest three times.
