CHIEF SCOUT TO VISIT
Four Days In City Sir Charles Maclean, Chief Scout of the Commonwealth, will visit Christchurch from March 21 to 24. With him will be the chief executive commissioner (Mr S. O. Field) ■nd the national secretary of the New Zealand Boy Scouts Association (Mr A. J. Crowther). On Tuesday evening there will be an official welcome for Sir Charles Maclean and presentation of Queen’s Scouts. On Wednesday morning he will visit the Canterbury scout training centre, Blue Skies, at Kaiapoi and in the evening, he will attend a cub and scout rally at the King Edward Barracks. He is also Chiei of the Clan Maclean and will visit the Scottish Society on Thursday evening. On Friday he will make an informal visit to the Canterbury area sea scout regatta at Pleasant Point
