In 1966 Chandris International Services carried over 90,000 passengers. The Patris (24,000 tons disp.) which sailed for Australia for the first time in December 1959, was joined by the Eliinis (26,00 tons disp.) and in 1964, the flagship Australis (35,000 tons disp.) in 1965, and last year by the Queen Frederica (22,509 tons disp.). The House of Chandris is proud to present these ships, comprising as they do, the most complete one-class passenger service in New Zealand, offering first rate travel at tourist class fares. There are many reasons for this terrific passenger preference. All Chandris liners have spacious, fully air-conditioned cabins, most of which have private facilities. Passengers have the full run of the ship every deck lounge, bar, restaurant, swimming pool, cinema, library. For children there is a fully equipped nursery under the care of a trained hostess. A cuisine and steward service of internatonally high repute. Entertainment of a consistently high standard. All this in that special Chandris Lines "atmosphere” generated by the friendly helpfulness of the crew and the little extra comforts and conveniences. CHANDRIS LINES'SSiBSI.96B(SAILINGS,•'/-•■!
