The East Christchurch Pigeon Club’s flock race, from Oamaru, was held in a strong southerly wind. Results:
D. Anthony, 3hr 2min 34sec, 1; D Partridge, 3:2.44, 2; N. Elstob. 3:2.58, 3: W. Le Gros and son, 3:3.53, 4; W. Warrington, 3:4.20, 5; F. Thyne, 3:5.6, 6; D. McMillan, 3:6.55, 7; L. Starling, 3:8.51, 8; A. and D. Wenmoth, 3:10.58, 9; Mann and Anderson, 3:31.27, 10; M. Towart, 3:46.51, 11. Airs D. Anthony won the ladies’ prize and D. Anthony the nominated bird prize.
