Report Not Admitted
(N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW ORLEANS ,Mar. 16. Defence lawyers tried unsuccessfully yesterday to introduce the Warren Report as evidence to discredit Perry Russo, who on Tuesday linked Lee Harvey Oswald with two *>w Orleans men in a plot to assassinate President Kennedy. The Criminal Court Judge ruled that the voluminous report would not be admitted. The defence lawyer for Clay Shaw, charged by the District Attorney, Mr Jim Garrison, with taking part in the plot, immediately filed a bill of exception laying the groundwork for an appeal.
