Audio-Visual School
An audio-visual school for all churches which are members of the Religious Film Society of New Zealand, will be held from August 4 to 6. It will be sponsored by the Christchurch Presbytery. The school will be held to help parishes see their responsibilities in providing visual aids, to demonstrate the type of aids that are available and to show how these can fit in with the curriculum of Sunday schools and other groups.
The Religious Film Society would be responsible for all the finance, the Rev. R. W. Simpson, convener of the Christian Education Committee, told the monthly meeting of Presbytery. Special sessions during the school are planned to cater for ministers, leaders of women’s groups, and Sunday school teachers and Bible class leaders.
