FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation. —An intense anti-cyclone centred over the Tasman Sea extends on to New Zealand. Forecast: Canterbury, central Marlborough, Nelson, Buller, Westland.—Light or moderate variable winds; some cloudy areas this morning but weather otherwise fine; mild in the afternoon. Coastal Marlborough.—Moderate winds from the southerly quarter predominating: partly cloudy weather and becoming milder. Outlook: partly cloudy in all districts. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
