BIGGER GOLF PENALTIES
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. Professional golfers who enter British P.G.A. tournaments, and then fail to play, will face heavier fines—and possible suspension—this season. Professionals who fail to turn up at the tee will be liable to a £25 fine, and possible suspension. A player who withdraws after a closing date will be fined £5 and this will be increased to £l.O if he withdraws within 48 hours of his starting time.
