Inter-Island Golf For Junior Teams
Many of New Zealand’*
beat young golfers will take part in the inaugural inter-island match between Junior Golfing Soclety teams at Nelson during Easter. Taylor (Taranaki), the 1965 New Zealand women's champion. The South Island girls' team includes Miss C. Sullivan (Canterbury), a semi-finalist in the national women’s title event last year, and the New Zealand junior champion, Miss M. Ensor (Canterbury). G. R. Lummis (Nelson), who beat S. G. Jones and E. J. McDougall in a day in last year’s Freyberg contest, is in the South Island boys’ team with three members of the
Canterbury team to play Wellington—D. R. Hope, J. A. Orr and R. M. Farrant. The outstanding Invercargill lefthander, P. R. Adams, was not available.
