Postal Hours At Easter
Most departments of the Post Office *will be closed from Good Friday to Easter Monday inclusive. The last postmen’s and rural mail deliveries before Easter will be made on March 23 and the first day after the holiday on March 28. The postal counter at the Chief Post Office will be open from 8.30 a.m. until 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25. The Post Office Savings Bank will be open from 8 a.m. until 8.30 p.m. on March 23 and will be closed until March 28.
The telegraph counter at the Chief Post Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Good Friday, from 8.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. on March 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 26, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ito 10 p.m. on March 27
Surface mails will close at 7 a.m. and air mails at 8 a.m. on each holiday except March 25, when closing times will be as usual.
