DELIVERY OF MILK
Stoppage In May Urged (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 14. Auckland milk vendors today decided to support any call for a nation-wide one-day stoppage of milk. During a lively three-hour meeting, the vendors, all members of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Vendors’ Association, voted to send to the Dominion Federation of Milk Vendors a resolution supporting a stoppage and naming the day as May 1. The meeting rejected by a narrow margin a resolution calling upon vendors throughout the country to adopt a six-day working week from Monday to Saturday.
