Duke Stays In Thailand (N.Z.P.A.-RMitir— Copyright; BANGKOK, March 12. The Duke of Edinburgh, due to fly to the Indian State of Rajasthan today for a week’s stay as the guest of the Msharajah of Jaipur, has postponed his visit because of the political situation there, the British Embassy announced tonight Riots broke' out in Jaipur earlier thia week after the State Governor had called on the Congress Party to form a government although opposition parties claim that they have a joint majority in the State Assembly. The Duke, who arrived In Bangkok today from Singapore, will now spend a few more days privately in Thailand, the Embassy spokesman said. The rest of the programme for his homeward journey to Britain is unchanged.
