MALVERN ROADS

Report On The 1966-67 sealing programme had been completed, 27 miles of road in Malvern county and three miles and a half of State Highway 72 having been sealed, the county engineer (Mr W. J. Bevis) told the Malvern County Council. About two miles of road In the Tawera county had also been sealed. The 1967-68 sealing programs was described in the works committee's report. The estimated eost of wort on the Aylesbury-Burnham road, Bealey, Cullens, Highfield, McLaughlin’s, Mindtins, Ridgens. Telegraph and Tramway roads and roads in Darfield, Coalgate and Waddington was £41,800.

Work in the Selwyn riding was estimated to cost £16,700. This would be spent on Boundary, Coleridge, Downs and Sleemans roads. The £lOOO free grant allocation would be spent on Highpeak and Showdon roads.'
