PHARMACIST PROMOTED

[Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, March 13. The appointment of Mr S. E. Andrews, a former president of the New Zealand Ethical Pharmaceuticals Association, as general manager of the. international pharmaceutical firm of Parke, Davis and Company, was announced at the week-end. Mr Andrews had been assistant general manager of the company during the last two years. Mr Andrews, aged 43, was bom in Wellington and qualified in pharmacy at the New Zealand College of Pharmacy. He joined the firm in New Zealand as a representative in 1954. Four years later he was appointed field manager and in 1961 was moved to Detroit, as area manager for the Pacific and African zone. Three years later he transferred to the United Kingdom and became area manager of the Atlantic zone.
