OFFICERS OF LODGE
At the 104th annual district conference of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows Friendly Society of New Zealand, North Canterbury district, which was held on Saturday, Mr B. 11. Gourlay was elected District Grand Master.
Mr Gourlay is the son of the immediate past grand master of the order in New Zealand. He comes from the Loyal Addington Lodge. Thirty-two delegates representing the 15 lodges in the
North Canterbury District attended the conference, at which the grand master for New Zealand of the order, Mr G. Thomas, and the immedi-ate-past grand master, Mr Gourlay, were the guests of honour. Officers elected were:— District grand master, Mr B H. Gourlay; deputy district grand master, Mr D. Mangess; district secretary, Mi H R. Peers; Immediate past district grand master, Mr G. H. Extan; trustees, Messrs G. F. Dawson, N. E. Taylor, R. H. Price; management committee, Sister M. C. Tizzard, Messrs K T. Buckley, A. Galt, M. E. Taylor, R. Tillman, A G.
