BROADCAST OF FIGHT
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The British Empire lightweight boxing title bout between M. Santos, of New Zealand, and B. Grant, of Jamaica, will be broadcast “live” tomorrow night. A spokesman for the Broadcasting Corporation said yesterday afternoon that agreement had been reached between the corporation and the Wellington Boxing Association on terms for the broadcast. The fight will be relayed over all 17 commercial stations, beginning at 10 p.m., and also over Radio New Zealand. A delayed telecast of the fight will be screened from Wellington television channels at 11 o’clock the same night, and from other channels at 11 p.m. on Thursday.
