Shark Seen
A shark of about 6ft was sighted just off the shore at New Brighton at 4 p.m. yesterday. It was heading towards North Beach. A shark warning was sounded from the New Brighton Surf Club and the water was cleared of bathers. There were six bathers in the water at the time and another four on boards.
