Vaccinations In Germany (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) REGENSBURG (West Germany), Mar. 11. The people of -Regensburg flocked to vaccination centres today after reports that a woman who recently returned from India was critically ill with smallpox. City health authorities placed a businesswoman, Mrs Anna Schmaus, aged 58, in a hospital isolation unit with her 80-year-old aunt and the doctor who had been treating her. Mrs Schmaus, who returned from India on February 21, went to her doctor five days ago complaining of difficulty in swallowing. After tests, smallpox was diagnosed yesterday. Regensburg health authorities said about 120 persons, believed to have been in contact with Mrs Schmaus, had reported to the authorities.
