Progress On Bridge
Excellent progress had been made on the construction of the new bridge over the Hawkins river on State highway 72, the Malvern County Council was told. The county engineer (Mr W. J. Bevis) said the last of the 35 piles had been driven, the 16 pre-cast beams had been erected and the crossbeams had been cast on the first span. Progress had been made with the decking.
