The New Zealand actress, Bridget Armstrong, returned to British television recently as Harry H. Corbett’s girl friend tn an episode of his new serial, “Mr Aitch.” Harry Corbett, best known as the younger Steptoe in “Steptoe and Son,” plays a wealthy playboy in his new serial. Miss Armstrong, formerly of Dunedin, appeared in the story “What’s it all about, Harry?” Miss Armstrong has appeared in the TV series "Compact” and many plays and short serials. She was in the films “A
Home of Your Own,” and “A Hard Day’s Night” and recently finished work in Tommy Steele’s film version of “Half a Sixpence.”
At present she is at Pinewood Studios, filming in colour for United States television. She will appear in an episode of an adventure series called “Man in a Suitease.”
Miss Armstrong is married to a Wanganui actor, Terence Bayler, who is appearing in the West End production of “Lady Windermere’s Fan.” They have two children.
