Thad Spencer Is to get a crack at Cassius Clay’s world heavy-weight title, Mr Herbert Muhammad, the champion’s manager, said in Chicago. But Spencer will have to wait until Clay has faced challenges from Zora Folley on March 22 and Oscar Bonavena (Argentina) or some other opponent. Mr Muhammad was commenting on claims by Mr W. Ketchum, Spencer’s comanager, that verbal agreement had been reached for a title fight in San Francisco in July. Mr Ketchum said Clay would sign contract papers after his fight against Folley in Madison Square Garden.
