Annual Festival At Pareora (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, March 0. Miss Penelope Thomson (Christchurch) was the winner of the Highland reel under-12 South Canterbury championship at the Pareora National Dancing Competition Society’s annual festival at the Pareora HaU recently. The Irish hornpipe (under-16) district championship was won by Miss lola Smith, of Timaru. The judge was Miss Allison Paton (Christchurch). Results, competitors being from Timaru unless indicated by the respective abbreviations —Christchurch (Ch.), Pareora (Par.), Temuka (Tem.), Oamaru (Oam.), Pleasant Point (P.P.) — were as follows:
