The appointee would be required to teach electrical and allied subjects up to New Zealand Advanced Trade Certificate standard to trade apprentices and to New Zealand Certificate standard with technician groups. Applicants should have an engineering degree or equivalent coupled with good practical or industrial experience. Previous teaching experience would be an advantage. The post offered is tutor grade 3, the corresponding salary scale being £1905-£2225. For an exceptionally well-qualified applicant the board would consider a senior tutorship (salary scale £2165-12405).
