“Disappointing Meeting”
A meeting between members of the Christchurch Civic Trust and the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority’s planning officer, Mr W. B. Millar, was described as “most disappointing” by the trust’s chairman (Mr J. Oakley). Most members hoped that aspects of the master transport plan would be discussed, but had received a dissertation from Mr Millar on the mechanics of planning. It was decided to request Mr Millar to meet the trust and to discuss specific ppints about the master transport plan.
