TIMING NOT SETTLED

British Butter

Quota

(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, Feb. 28.

The British butter quota figures for the 1967-68 period are not expected to be announced this week. Talks between representatives of the New Zealand and British Governments concluded on Friday but Whitehall said yesterday that the timing of an announcement had not yet been settled. The figures are usually announced by the President of the Board of Trade—this year Mr Douglas Jay—in reply to a question asked in the House of Commons.
