SUBSIDY AT ADDINGTON
Horses Brom North The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club has decided to pay £l5O toward the cost of chartering an aircraft to bring Auckland horses to its Easter meeting on March 11, 18 and 25. The subsidy would apply no matter how many horses travelled in the plane, said the secretary of the club (Mr D. C. Parker). It is expected that the plane will travel south on March 8 or 9. The northern horses entered for the meeting include Tobias, Great Adios, Elegant Hanover, Port Boxer, Goodray, Willie Mac and Stanley Miller. The Matamata trotter, Scotleigh is expected to come south after the Wellington meeting tonight.
