The Garrison Hanover colt, Killadar, will reappear on the second day of the Wyndham Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday week. He has not raced since the Auckland meeting in December, when he did not do well.
D. P. Dynes, who trains Killadar, said yesterday that he did not intend racing the Garrison Hanover colt at Addington next month, but would go north to race at Hutt Park in April. Fort Nelson, which won a double at Auckland in December, finished, second in the Great Northern Derby, and won the Cross Stakes at the Canterbury Park meeting in 2min 4 2-ssec, will race at the Easter carnival at Addington. He has thrived in his latest training and made an outstanding run against a seasoned field at the Wyndham trials last week. He was timed to run his last mile in 2min Seee. and his final half In moving up three wide at the home turn, in 60 4-ssec.
