The East Christchurch Pigeon Club held races from Picton and Oamaru in strong easterly winds at the week-end. Results were:

Thyne, 4:9:20, 8; Alf Duckley, 4:9:59, 9: B. Partridge, 4:10:10, 11; A. and B. Wenmoth, 4:19:26, 12; A. and B. Heese, 4:22:59, 13. Mrs L. Starling won the ladies*’ prize and D.
