TOP TENNIS PLAYERS
Tourney In Jamaica (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) KINGSTOWN (Jamaica). Some of the world’s leading tennis players are in Jamaica for the one-week St. Andrew’s International invitation tournament which began yesterday. T. Roche (Aust/alia) heads the men’s entry, which includes P. La! (India), M. Cox and Roger Taylor (Britain), N. Pilic (Jugoslavia), R. Holmberg (United States), and players from Mexico, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Colombia, and Czechoslovakia. Competing against the “big n-mes” will be the Jamaican players, L Lumsden and R. Russell. The women’s contingent is headed by the British star, Mrs Ann Jones, and includes T. Fretz (United States), J. Lehane (Australia) and players from Mexico, France, Holland, West Germany, and Colombia.
