OUTCLASSES OPPONENTS

(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI. The New Plymouth motorcyclist, J. Furze, was the star of the Wanganui Sports Motorcycle Club’s national meeting at the week-end. He won the New Zealand open miniature T.T. and the North Island 500 c.c. miniature T.T. titles from large fields from all over the country. On the Rapanul circuit on Saturday he completely outclassed the fields on his J.A.P. machine and to round off his day he won both the 350 c.c. and 500 c.c. scratch races. On Saturday Gisborne’s M. Barrington won the national 500 c.c. hill climb at Okoia after a stirring two-life final against the former New Zealand representative, j. Hempieman, of Auckland.
