PUBLIC NOTICES IN THE MATTER OF (THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT, 1953 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SPECIFIED DEPARTURE FROM CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT SCHEME NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Regulation 32 (4) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations, 1960, that SEARLE HOLDINGS, LTD., a company duly incorporated and having its registered office at Christchurch has applied to the Christchurch City Council for consent to a specified departure from the district scheme of the Christchurch City Council so far as it affects the land situated at 146 Aikmans road, Christchurch, being Lot 1 on Deposit Plan 5693, and part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title Volume 331 Folio 290. The applicant asks that such land be permitted to be used as a car park for customers to the adjacent shops controlled by it and to the adjacent shopping centre for pedestrian and vehicular access to such shops and adjacent shopping centre and for the erection thereon of shops in accordance with plans that may from time to time be approved by the City Engineer. Any person or body objecting to or supporting the proposals or desiring variation of them shall submit (in duplicate) his reasons for such objection, support or desiring to vary the proposals to the Town Clerk, Christchurch City Council, P.O. Box 237, Christchurch, not later than the 20th day of March, 1967. Any person or body so objecting or supporting the application is entitled to be heard by the Council or by a Committee thereof constituted for the purpose. A copy of the application may be inspected during office hours at the City Engineer’s Office, 164 Gloucester street, .Christchurch.
