Plane Lifted By Helicopter
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 24. A Royal New Zealand Air Force Iroquois helicopter lifted a Fletcher top-dressing aircraft from sand dunes near Kaipara today and took it to a nearby airstrip. The aircraft, piloted by Mr P. Ashford, of Warkworth, made a forced landing on the dunes this morning. The pilot was not injured but the aircraft was slightly damaged.
