‘New Opinions’ Attacked

VATICAN CITY. Feb. 22.
Pope Paul, in a letter to the world’s Roman Catholic Bishops, today attacked new opinions finding their way into Catholic teaching which questioned or distorted objective truths of the church.
He warned of the dangers of trying to borrow new interpretations of Christianity from “bold but blind secular philosophies.”
