(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, Jan. 24.

The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight he hoped to be able to discard his walking stick tomorrow. He walked with the aid of the stick at most official appearances for Marshal Ky today after pulling a muscle in his leg the night before.

Mr Holyoake said he had undergone physiotherapy and it had done a lot of good. Mr Holyoake did not travel to Auckland with Air ViceMarshal Ky because of his leg trouble.
