PUBLIC NOTICES MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER HOUSING LOAN, 1966 PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Malvern County Council held in the Council Chambers. Darfield, on the 9th day of Der cember, 1966, the following resolution was passed and It will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on the 4th day of February, 1967, at 10.15 a.m., at the Council Chambers, Darfield. RESOLUTION That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1956, and the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, and all other powers thereunto enabling the Malvern County. Council doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order to raise a loan of £4OOO to be known as the Housing Loan. 1966, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a house thereon or purchasing an existing house, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the term for which the said Loan or any part there of may be borrowed shall be 30 years. 2. That the rate of Interest that may be paid in respect of the said Loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not Jiroduce to the lender or enders a rate or rates exceeding 54 per cent per annum. 3. That the said Loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in Clause 1 hereof. 4. That the payment of all such installments shall be made in New Zealand and no such installment shall be paid out of loan money. 5. That the rate payable for brokerage in respect of the raising of the laid Loan or any part thereof shall not exceed one half per cent of any amount raised. 6. That no money shall be borrowed after 11th November, 1969. 7. x That the security rate for 'the said Loan shall be a special rate of .0061 d in the £ upon the Capital Value of all rateable property within the County of Malvern. 8. That before proceeding with the erection of the said dwelling, all the conditions laid down by the Local Authorities Loans Board in its letter dated 11th November, 1966 shall be complied with. A copy of this Special Order is deposited at the Offices of the Malvern County Council, Darfield, and is open for the inspection of the public during office hours until the said 4th day of February, 1967. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, it is hereby further publicly notified that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken if 5 per cent of the ratepayers in the County so demand by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the undersigned before the date fied for the confirmation of the foregoing resolution.
