British husbands had adopted a new hobby—delivering their Own babies the “Sun” reported. But the husbands’new “do it yourself” hobby was worrying Britain's midwives, It was claimed in a report by the Marrage Guidance Council. One midwife said a husband, having taken a midwifery course, wanted to take charge of his wife’s pregnancy and labour. One doctor said: “Husbands who attend antenatal Instruction classes with their wives get very enthusiastic.
“Some get too enthusiastic.”
