HIGH CHAIR “GROWS WITH BABY”

A high chair that ean he easily converted into other items of small furniture, has been specially designed to “grow up* with the baby.

Produced by a British firm, the multi-purpose unit has several years of useful life after a child has outgrown the high-chair stage. Made from prime beech with a polished finish, the high chair has an over-all height of 33in. It is fitted with a detachable plastic tray, a safety strap and foot-board. The unit consists basically of two self-contained sections, so that, by simply lifting the seat from its lower leg section, it is converted into a low feeding chair and separate stool. Without its tray and footboard, the low feeding chair becomes a comfortable armchair for a growing child. In high-chair form with the fixtures removed, the unit makes an ideal junior dining chair. The seat height of 21in is suitable for use with a normal dining table.

A table top, measuring 19 3-Bin by 16in can be fitted to the stool to convert it into an occasional table for family use. It can also be used as a child's desk in conjunction with the armchair. The table top is finished in

a lacquer which is highly resistant to wear and proofed against weak acids, spirits and hot plates. The chair and stool top are upholstered 1 with foam-padded washable PVC. A double-seat children’s settee of similar design to the armchair is available as an extra.
