Names Announced Of Ky’s Official Party
A full list of the official party accompanying Air ViceMarshal Ky, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Viet-, nam, and his wife on their New Zealand visit was announced for the first time last evening. The party is: Dr. Tran Van Do, Minister for Foreign Affairs; Mr Nguyen Van Loc, chairman of the Army People’s Council; Major General Nguyen Due Thang, Minister for Revolutionary Development; Mr Truong Thai Ton, Secretary of State to the Prime Minister’s Office and Secretary of State for Industry and Handicrafts; Mr Nguyen Xuan Phong, Secretary of State for Social Welfare; Mr Truong Tien Dat, Secretary-General of the Constituent Assembly; Mr Tran Kim Phuong, Vietnamese Ambassador to Malay-
sia, and Mrs Tran Kim Phuong; Mr Ngo Van Nham, member of the Constituent Assembly; Mr Vu Ban, member of the Constituent Assembly; Mrs Oo Ngoc Nhan, wife of the commanding officer, National Military Academy, accompanying Madame Ky; Mr Nguyen Ngoc Linh, Director-General of Vietnam Press.
Dr. Nghiem My, Charge d*Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Vietnam, and his wife are accompanying officials. There are also 14 members of a non-official party, two women listed as a working group, and eight members of a public relations group. There are six members of the group, and eight members of the advance party already in New Zealand.
