China Alleges Slander <N.Z.P.A.-Reut«r— Copyright) TOKYO, January 21. Peking radio tonight accused the Soviet Union of slander in claiming that China stole two Soviet missiles. The broadcast said Soviet leaders had planted reports in Western newspapers that China had intercepted two Vietnam-bound surface-to-air missiles. To suggest that China had used these missiles to develop her missile technology was to underestimate China’s great achievements, the radio said.
