Helicopter Rescue
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 23. A Wellington deerstalker, Selwyn Maitland Bullock, aged 20, of Karori, who collapsed in the Ruahines near Rangiwahia late on Sunday was rescued by a helicopter today.
He was picked up from Knights Hut, about 20 miles from Rangiwahia, and flown to the Wanganui racecourse. Mr Bullock will have his appendix removed in Wanganui Hospital this evening. His condition is not serious.
